How To Use Cheats on Android Emulators

Not all Emulator's support cheats like GameShark codes, however most that do are generally the same for setup. This is very basic however I've found a lot of people are having problems.

Step 1: Start Emulator & Load Game

Start up your Emulator and load a ROM. Don't start the game, just get to the main menu.

Step 2: Go to the Cheat MENU

Press the MENU button on your phone, you should get a list of option such as "Cheats." Some Emulators require you to go to "Settings > Cheats," where ever it is, you need to locate it.

Step 3: Load the Cheat

Load the cheat code you found. Most of the time, you hit MENU again and go to "Add Cheat" or there is a "Add" button. I've found cheat codes are Single Lines. Only have 1 cheat enabled at a time. **Gameshark requires a Master Code to be enabled first. Example: Master Code, Cheat 1

Step 4: Restart the Game

Most cheats require you to restart the game so that game recognizes the cheat.
